This produces flagstones with that worn profile which has always been part of the best traditional English gardens. The colour is also close to real English York Stone. Each slab has superb edge detail and can be used for steps, copings and raised features. For maximum authenticity we recommend a random layout.
Vintage Manor Paving should always be laid larger face upwards on a full bed of mortar. It may be used for domestic driveways with suitable foundations. When used for interiors, it is usually treated with a suitable coating.
Each piece of Vintage Stone has its own texture, colour and markings which can vary considerably in the same way as reclaimed stone. It is important to view a range of samples at a stockist to appreciate this authentic diversity and ensure that it is suitable for your project
